A Time For Everything

Mounds of heather are in bloom. Their color is so welcome after all the freezing nights. Spring is coming in spite of the cold. Sometimes it amazes me how God keeps the seasons on track. We see only the long winter, or the droughts, or get weary of waiting for our 'valley' to end.

It is comforting to know that God has everything in control. Sometimes, we can not do much but believe. With God in charge, that is enough. "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven." Ecclesiastes 3:1

You know just the right words every morning. Sometimes I feel the whole world has gone crazy. But in a conversation just the other day, I reminded the person I was visiting with, and myself, that God still has everything under control. Now, isn't that a good feeling?

Wow. This post, both with its heather flower and its words, seems meant for both a friend I know and me. A good reminder to pray. Love this combination of soft pink and purple, by the way.

Had to come back and share yet another wonderful "coincidence" in relation to this particular blog post of yours. Yesterday, after reading this post and commenting on it, as I was driving home from work, the radio announcer on the Christian station quoted Ecclesiastes 3:1. Wow.
