Yellow Rhododendron

I could not photograph this to suit me. I am not sure I have ever seen a yellow rhododendron before. The minute I saw it I took off at full speed, finding a trail where there was none, walking on rocks that begged to twist my ankle, and pushing back undergrowth that wanted to snap me in the face. Then I was there ... and the angle was not right, the lighting was not enough; I just did not know how to capture this beauty.

May we be so quick to spot beauty in others. May we look past the difficulties, the thorns, the rough edges, and try to see what God sees in them. We are commanded to LOVE one another - let us look for their beauty and remember those qualities. (Photo by Connie)

I don't think I have seen a yellow rhododendron either! I remember seeing some beautiful cream ones once, but that is the nearest I have got.

I enjoy reading your blog - it is always helpful.

Hi! Thanks for stopping by and leaving a note. It's good to meet a neighbor (I'm in Oregon =)). I'm a Christian, also. Glad to meet you!

The photo is still nice, Connie. Everyone and everything not only needs a little sunshine, but sometimes a little shade too!
