Being Flexible

This has been one of those weeks. Every day has been topsy-turvy. All the plans were make, the general schedule was laid out, then day after day I had to be flexible and re-plan the day.

This little guy went somewhere and it turned cold. Mommy obviously had forgotten his coat - so? She made do and it certainly brought a smile to many faces.

When we have to change, we can ask God for patience, understanding, endurance, and the ability to be flexible. With God helping our attitude, not only will others smile, but so will we.

I think I'm pretty flexible. As a firefighter's wife, you have to learn to be or you will be miserable!

Just tonight, it's 4:00 p.m., phone call, "I'm coming home around 8:00, overtime". No explanation, just that simple. "OK, Honey, see ya then." No resentment, not bitterness, no anger. It's just the way it is...Took me 15 years to get there, but I guess better late than never.

Good thoughts, Connie and the cute picture certainly demonstrates this idea of being flexible. I'm glad you joined us on Spiritual Sundays. Yes, we have a wonderful diverse group of people who share with us each week.
