Burst Your Own Bubble!

Here is my grandson having a great moment - wearing Grandpa's hat and blowing up a balloon as big as he wants. The little cheeks are getting tired ... they are bulging ... who will end up with the most pressure? He or the balloon? This was his moment to burst is own bubble.

God would have us break our own bubble. We can hang onto disappointments, mistakes, and things that make us feel insignificant or like a failure. Or we can accept that God does not drain our hearts of hope so we can learn a lesson.

Burst your bubble by being faithful to God. We get confused and measure the value of our life the way others do. We can lose our hope and our dreams, or we can make the decision to let God work through all of these by being faithful to Him.

Take one more deep breath. Choose to blow away the past and suck in a breath of fresh air as you let God refresh you. Focus on the one thing that matters - being faithful to Him.
