God Brings Order - not Chaos

Spring is coming to our area. It was fun to go out with the camera last night and find daffodils. The seasons and everything in them are so full of order!

Photos by Connie

Every two to three weeks I get to spend some time with my husband. (He had to take a job out of state last year.) Sunday we headed here, but the 2.5 hour trip became a 7.5 hour trip. The van broke down and we had to leave the van and a load of things. I keep trying to solve everything in my head and 'laughed' when I read the following devotional and the word 'micromanage'.

The devotional read: "Go to God and let Him relieve you of every burden. Make your requests known to Him. Your faith will bring forth God's will in every circumstance. Give up trying to micromanage every detail of your life. Let God bring order out of chaos and let Him establish peace. Trust God to reveal His purpose in your life and bring it to completion."

Philippians 1:6 ... being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it ...

Okay God, I will try not to micromanage today.

Hey, this is another new face on your blog. You really are spring decorating.
Car troubles are not my idea of how to spend 'quality time' together. I hope you and your sweetheart got beyond the breakdown to enjoying your time together.

I saw your comment about govt. control on Parley's Blog. I work for a suregeon and he is getting scared. All the doctors I know are fearfu;. Yet politicians get what they want and you & I pay for it. We are a weak nation. No one wants to stand against them! Prayer is all we have ior as my late mamma use to say, "Life is hard, pray harder! I love your comments & thinking.

Great words of wisdom! (As I sat here tonight surfing information on materials trying to decide what direction I want to head with my oldest daughter's homeschooling next year. All along I've been talking with God and asking Him to show me. Of course He doesn't have to show me right this minute. He's got it all in His hands and will direct us as we follow Him.) Thank you once again. :)
By the way, the daffodil is beautiful. Yeah spring! :)

Oh, then I guess we're not in control - of anything. But then, I knew that. Sure glad God is at the helm.

I pray you're van isn't too expensive to fix and that God will provide the funds.

Love your daffies!
