Photos by ConnieWe had a memorial day visitor who kept my family entertained. We learned that they are good tree climbers! I do not know if he was looking for food, but it is unusual that he was around during the day. I love the little dark mask around the eyes.
Those searching eyes made me think of this verse: "Search me oh God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts." Psalms 129:23

Great pictures of the young and very curious raccoon. They are fun to watch and have little fears yet.

You got such good pictures of him! My raccoon shots are usually blurred =) We saw 2 raccoons a week ago during the daytime, also, and we thought it was strange for them to be out in the light.
