Quieted by a Foggy Sunrise

For some reason I need the quiet this photo emanates. Sometimes I get tired of everything I need to do or figure out. Sometimes I just need to stop.

Psalm 131 says it well; "Lord, my heart is not haughty, nor my eyes lofty. Neither do I concern myself with great matters, nor with things too profound for me. Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul."

There are times I just need to quiet my soul. (Photo by Bill)

What a beautiful picture. Love the feeling of peace it evokes inside me.
If only we had more time to just stop and look at the beautiful world we are blessed with.

I think we all need to do a little "quieting" at times. Lovely photo too! That's a great capture.

This is beautiful! It says to me, BE STILL AND KNOW I AM GOD

That is such a peaceful picture - but how did the photographer persuade the goose to pose in exactly the right place?

Thank you for calling into my blog. We do celebrate Mother's Day, or Mothering Sunday, but a lot earlier than you do, way back in March! I don't think we are quite as commercial, either.

Love your blog music, by the way. Now I must go and look at that gorgeous photo again!
