On The Mountain Top

This photo, taken yesterday by my husband as he flew over Saddle Mountain in Oregon, reminds me that we do have highs and lows in our life.

God reminds us to remember the 'highs' for they strengthen our faith when we are in the valley. He reminds us to tell our children about the victories, so the stories will help them to remember to turn to God in their time of need.

Let's remember the mountain experiences of our life - use them for faith to continue!

God makes our valleys seem tolerable. Though I walk THROUGH
the valley of the shawdow of death...
God is faithful!

Hi Connie, the idea of telling our children has been on my and my husbands heart for a couple of years now. In part, that is the purpose for my blog. I was thinking just the other night that I want to use this 'down' time to write things like our salvation story or each birth story (each one was a huge spiritual thing for us) and other things for our children to see the hand of God in our lives.

We will not hide them from their children;
we will tell the next generation
the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD,
his power, and the wonders he has done Ps. 78:4

Thanks for your kind words and prayers. Things are still not going well, very, very difficult week. He knows the way that I take!
