Why Worry?

These birds, as shared by Mona, do not have a worry in the world. Sitting among the barbs, they take life as it comes.

We must chose to refuse to be overwhelmed by looking forward to what might demand out time, energy and resources. God's grace is sufficient for the demands of today. We must learn to take one moment at a time and one step at a time. We must practice trusting God with all out hearts.

Frustration removes us from God's presence and takes us off course. Let God quiet us as we trust Him.

Matthew 6:34 reminds us, Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

That's a great post which you must have written just for me! I'm the world's best "worrier". I have trouble letting go of things - sometimes I can't get to sleep at night because of it. Enjoyed this post. Would we could be more like my Bluebirds!

I think the Bluebirds worry too...where am I gonna get my next meal. But they don't let it take over their every waking moments.

We all need to practice trusting God more. Every night I always say "Take my worries and show me what I really need to do." Sure does make for a better nights sleep.

As I discipline each child, over and over again. This morning has been hectic, I have been removed even as I do my Bible study with interuption after interruption, I find myself getting frustrated.

I needs God's grace pouring into my life, I need to get a handle on what truly is important. Food, clothes, the hearts of my children growing closer the Lord. God will give me all of these things even in the midst of all of this chaos, screams and fits! Whew! Can you tell what kind of morning I'm having? LOL!

As we waited for the last four years to see where God wanted my husband to end up, it has been a constant exercise in not worrying. His blessings are so worth the wait!

BTW, I love this bird pictures. I used to watch birds as a hobby.

Thank you for that wonderful reminder. God used it to bless me. (It's 2 a.m. and I can't sleep for looking at the busy-ness that lay ahead of me today.) I'll hop off the computer and spend time with my Father - He never slumbers. Thank you for that timely reminder not to worry and to rely on His grace moment by moment. :)
In His love,
Tina
